Preliminary Contest: Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the PIRO building
※Preliminary contest: Solve a given challenge in a specific area (prior information and testing are available)

Main contest: November 7 (Sat.), 2009, Undecided; ※The location will be announced right before the contest as it may influence the level of difficulty (homepage and individual notification); ※The main contest will not be held if the teams fail to complete the preliminary challenge.

Preliminary contest: Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at PIRO; 10:00 ~ 12:00 : Technology screening; 13:00 ~ 18:00 : Grand Challenge preliminary contest; September 5 (Sat.) : Preliminary awards ceremony (with the IRC 2009 awards ceremony)

Main contest: Saturday, November 7, 2009; 13:00 ~ 18:00 : Grand Challenge main contest; After the contest: awards ceremony (tentative)

Qualification: Individuals or organizations (teams) including schools, research institutes and companies who submit their contest applications no later than the deadline (free of charge)
